Western Classic Tentative Schedule

1:30 pm report to MHS for rehearsal
3:30 pm pack equipment and change
4:15 pm depart for Western
4:25 pm report to Western Hall
4:30 pm unload equipment
4:50 pm leave for warm-up field
5:02 pm warm-up
5:25 pm leave for stadium
5:45 pm report to stadium gate
6:02 pm perform
6:19 pm
  • pit members load truck
  • all other members to stands with equipment to watch last bands
  • get something to eat and drink (Please take off your marching jackets before getting anyting to eat or drink.)
6:19 pm listen to Rockridge
6:36 pm listen to Jacksonville
6:53 pm listen to Alan B Shepherd
7:10 pm listen to the Marching Leathernecks
7:35 pm awards cermony
8:00 pm
  • return to MHS
  • unload equipment

Details

What Band Members Will Need

  • Clean uniform with clean collar liner, black shoes, black socks, hat, and plume
  • Instrument and all equipment—mallets, etc. Remember: You play it, you carry it!
  • Money for the meal at Western
  • Great attitude and behavior
  • Try to wear clothes that you can fit comfortably underneath your uniform. The changing facilities are very limited at Western Hall!
